فکر کنم تمامی سایت ها و وبلاگ های ایرانی بیوگرافی گروه منووار رو اشتباه نوشتن !

از حدوده 37 سایتی که نوشتن همه کپی از کتاب سلاطین فلزی ( ترجمه ی اشعار منووار ) هستش

که اونم پر از غلطه ! اما چی میشه کرد !!!  همه هم فقط کپی بلدند !!!

آخرشم اسم خودشونو می چسبونن که آره اینهارو من نوشتم ها !!! کپی نیست !!!

اریک آدامز خواننده ی گروه هوی متال امریکایی Manowar در 12 جولای 1954 در Auburn,

New York به دنبا اومد .اریک آدامز بخاطر نگه داشتن نفس  و جیغ های طولانی به سرعت

مشهور شد ... و ویِژگی های خاص اریک اون رو از هر خواننده ای متمایز کرد ...

تو کنسرت های زنده ی منووار اکثرا" بالای 40 ثانیه جیغ میزنه و نفسش رو نگه میداره که

در نوع خودش رکورده .

گروه مورد علاقه ی اریک Deep Purple بود و او عاشق صدای Iian Gillan بود ...

آلبوم سال 1983 منووار با نام Into Glory Ride دارای وکالی متفاوت با کل آهنگ های متال

داشت ... طوری که اریک رو از خیلی ها متمایز کرد ...

خیلی ها فکر میکنن تنها ویژگی خوب اریک جیغ زدناشه ! اما اصلا" اینطور نیست ...

چون مهمترینش اونه و واقعا"هم هنره همه ی مفسران سایت های مختلف متال روی

این هنرش مانور یشتری میدن .

متاسفانه به دلیل عدم آشنایی خیلی ها با این گروه و همچنین وکال اریک او به شهرتی

که باید میرسید هرگز  نرسید ... در حالی که کسی که نوع وکالش مثل اون باشه هرگز

دیده نشده ...

اریک به زبان های انگلیسی,آلمانی و ایتالیایی تسلط کامل داره و هنگامی که منووار در

کشور هایی با زبان های مختلف کنسرت داره اون به زبان های اون کشور آهنگ هایی رو

اجرا می کنه ...

از دیگر ویژگی های او می توان به صدای مناسب او که با نوع آهنگ

برای مثال در آهنگ هایی که راجع به نبرد و جنگ با دشمنان است خشم از

صدای او می بارد اما در  آهنگ هایاحساسی مثل Heart Of Steel,Master Of The Wind,

Blood Brothers  احساس در صدایش موج میزند ...

به شخصه خودم واقعا" سورپریز شدم !!! کار بسیار قوی از گروه ...

در این آلبوم آهنگی به نام FATHER به 16 زبان دنیا خوانده شده !!! و منووار برای بار چهارم نامش وارد

کتاب رکورد ها شد ...

این آلبوم EP محسوب میشه ... یعنی مثل warriors of the world یا gods of war نیست چون

ترک های کمتری داره ... تقریبا مثل آلبوم Sons Of Odin یعنی چند ترک از اون تو آلبوم رسمی

و بعدی منووار قرار خواهد گرفت .

آهنگ معروف crown and the ring تو این آلبوم با سبک متال بازخوانی شده و واقعا" زیباست ...

آلبوم جدید منووار ... Manowar's New Album

سایت magic circle music خبر آلبوم جدید منووار رو تایید کرد ...

این آلبوم 15 ترک خواهد داشت و برای نخستین بار در تاریخ موسیقی هوی متال به زبان های

مختلف دنیا ضبط خواهد شد و بار دیگر منووار نامش در کتاب رکوردهای گینس ثبت خواهد

شد ...

خواندن به زبان های مختلف اون هم در سبک هوی متال از عهده ی هر خواننده ای بر نمیاد

اما اریک که تجربه ی خواندن به 6 زبان دیگه رو هم داره قطعا" موفق خواهد بود .

خبر دیگر اینکه جانشین Scott clolumbus که چند ماهی است که با گروه قطع رابطه کرده

به احتمال زیاد دنی هامزیکDonnie Hamzik  نخستین درامر منووار که واقعا" دارمر خوبی

است خواهد بود ...

او از آغاز سال 2009 مشغول همکاری با گروه است .

گروه منووار الان واقعا" رو اوج و به قاطعیت می توان گفت موفق ترین گروه بین گروه های

قدیمی و کلاسیک متال منوواره ... اکثر گروه های قدیمی تو سال های اخیر کارهایی ارائه

دادند که نسبت به کارهای دهه ی 80 و 90 خیلی ضعیف تره اما منووار برعکس در سالهای

اخیر بسیار بهتر از دهه های 80 و 90 بوده است .

MANOWAR BIOGRAPHY

In the beginning, Joey DeMaio was working as a bass/pyro tech for Black Sabbath. When Sabbath played a show at Newcastle City Hall in England, he hooked up with original Manowar guitarist Ross the Boss, who at the time was playing for Shakin Street, a Sabbath support band. As both shared an all-consuming love for in-your-face-metal, it was not long before they struck on the idea of Manowar. Later, having recruited the ultimate voice of heavy metal, Eric Adams (and drummer Donny Hamzik), Manowar recorded their debut album "Battle Hymns." It featured a bone chilling narration by legendary actor Orson Welles on the track "Dark Avenger."

When Manowar joined forces with a new label, they signed their recording contract in blood (becoming the first band to demonstrate their commitment this way). Their second release, "Into Glory Ride" featured the debut of Scott Columbus, a man so viscous with the sticks that standard drum kits simply fell to pieces under his awesome attack-hence the need for custom built, stainless steel drums.

Recorded and mixed in six days, Manowar's third album was titled "Hall to England." It heralded the band's debut tour of Great Britain. Not since the Vikings invaded northeast England in 878 had the isles seen such all-consuming power. The whole of Europe fell prey to Manowar with the "Spectacle Of Might" tour as the band slashed and burned their way across the Continent in support of their forth album, "Sign Of The Hammer." It was then that Manowar entered the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's loudest band.

On the heels of "Sign Of The Hammer", the band released "Fighting The World." Manowar took the whole of Europe by storm yet again in support of this record. All the while, the crowds swelled. Manowar satisfied the teeming hordes by playing wilder, louder, and heavier inviting fans to join them onstage to sing or even play guitar.

The band's next album "Kings Of Metal" (a title bestowed on the men of Manowar by their international legion of fans) saw them push the sonic envelope even further. They traveled to England to record "The Crown and the Ring" as well as other standout tracks, with the 100-voice, all-male Canoldir choir in St. Paul's Cathedral in Birmingham. This majestic work also featured orchestra, as did others on "Kings of Metal." Two tours were required to do justice to this landmark recording. Fans waited four years for the band's next offering. During this period, Manowar built their own studio in New York; it was christened Haus Wanfried after composer Richard Wagner's house. From there unfolded the band's seventh album, "The Triumph Of Steel" which boasted over 70 minutes of pure metal might. Inspired by Homer's "The Illad," the song "Achilles: Agony and Ecstasy in Eight Parts" clocked in at 28 minutes. "The Triumph of Steel" entered the charts in Germany at No. 35 and stormed its way to No. 8- without a single or video. When the album was released in Greece, Manowar fans laid siege to the largest record store in Athens to be among the first to hear the new disc. Extra copies were rush delivered, so great was the demand for "The Triumph Of Steel." The band played to over 15,000 metal maniacs in Athens' Stadium of Peace and Friendship (in their first show there).

The band continued to play to packed halls. In Hanover, Germany they established a new standard in ear splitting power by breaking their Guinness record for loudest band in the world. Two sound specialists officiated, measuring and documenting with painstaking care as Manowar shook the city, playing live at a staggering 129.5 decibels through 10 tons of amplifiers and speakers measuring 40 feet in length and 21 feet in height. This astounding event was reported worldwide. Another highlight of the "Secrets Of Steel" tour was the band's first performance in Russia, where they had been voted the live act music fans would most like to see, beating out the Beatles and Michael Jackson.

Two years in the making, Manowar then released "Louder Than Hell." "We're perfectionists," explains DeMaio of the lengthy interval. "Good songs do not grow on trees and great art does not abide by some arbitrary timetable. When we're inspired, we create. And when we create, our goal is to capture the attitude and power these songs possess when we play them live in the studio. Our live energy is the defining characteristic of this band."

In 99, Manowar's legendary live energy has been captured on "Hell On Stage Live", showcasing Manowar's dynamic range and sheer power. It's what the world has been waiting for...

آهنگ   آهنگ زیبا و متفاوتی از منووار است . آهنگی که موضوع آن تلاش منووار برای رسیدن به عنوان

KINGS OF METAL  است .

در این آهنگ زیبا از ارزش های والای انسانی همچون قدرت عزم و اراده و حقیقت جویی قلب انسان یاد شده است.

آهنگ با کیبورد جویی دی مایو  آغاز می شود . و وکال احساسی اریک فضای خاصی را به آهنگ بخشیده است .

از دقیقه ی چهارم به بعد کار زیبایی رو از منووار می بینیم که در هیچ یک از کارهای دیگر ندیدیم که زمینه ی

آن درام آرام اسکات کلمبوس است که لحظه لحظه با ندای شجاعتی که اریک می خواند قوی و قوی تر می شود .

کارل لوگان نیز با گیتار آرامی که می زند کار را تکمیل می کند .

یبام این آهنگ این است که :

" هیچ کس نمی تواند ما را از دست یابی به هدف ها و ارزش هایی که داریم متوقف کند, در این راه دشمنان

من ایمان دارم . . . I BELIEVE

آهنگI Believe  یکی از کارهای منووار در آلبوم غیر رسمی The Down Of a Battle  است که در

سال ۲۰۰۲ به بازار آمد .

 تنها 3 آهنگ به نام های I BELIEVE , CALL TO ARMS , THE DAWN OF A BATTLE  را شامل

 می شود .

 I BELIEVEآهنگی که با متنی قوی است که در بسیاری از کنسرت های زنده اجرا شد .

آهنگی که ریتم آن بر خلاف اکثر آهنگ های گروه منووار Manowar  بود . این آهنگ نسبت به

 آهنگ های دیگر ریتم شاداب تری را دارد بر خلاف خیلی از کارهای دیگر که Blues  به حساب

می آیند . ضمن اینکه از کیبورد نیز مثل برخی آهنگ های دیگر استفاده شده است .

ابتدای کار  و همچنین چند ریتمی بودن درام  از تفاوت های این آهنگ به حساب می آید . البته

اکثر اوقات ریتم درام مانند ریتم Warriors Of The World است اما ثابت نیست .

آهنگ این پیام را می رساند که :

هیچ گاه از انجام کاری نا امید نشو , زیرا اگر اعتقاد و اراده ی قوی داسته باشی هرگز تسلیم

 نمی شوی .

گایانا , این آیین لعنت شده Guyana Cult Of The Damned

آهنگ Guyana Cult Of The Damned یکی از آهنگ های گروه منووار در آلبوم Sign Of The Hammer

منتشر شده در سال 1984میلادی است .

آلبوم Sign Of The Hammer ( نشان چکش ) در 15 اکتبر 1984 با 4 ماه تاخیر وارد بازار شد .

اعضای منووار برای آن آلبوم عبارت بودند از  :

اریک آدامز Eric Adams : وکال

جوای دی مایو Joey DeMaio : گیتار بیس و شاعر تمام سروده ها

روس د بوس Ross The Boss :گیتار الکتریک و شاعر آهنگ The Oath

اسکات کلمبوس Scott Columbus: درام زن

ضمن اینکه شعرهای این آلبوم با همکاری جویی با شخصی به نام " اکس شکین " که یک شاعر و

 حقوق دان هنرمند بود سروده شد .

در این آلبوم یک تکنوازی قوی با نام THUNDER PICK نیز وجود دارد .

آهنگ های دیگر این آلبوم عبارتند از :

البته بدون شک بهترین آهنگ های این آلبوم The Sign Of The Hammer و The Oath بودند که جزء

قوی ترین های دهه ی 80 محسوب می شوند .

بیشتر سبک این آلبوم ( نشان چکش ) مارش راک است . علت نامگذاری آلبوم به این نام ثور Thor

یکی از خدایان قدرتمند افسانه های نوردیک است .

اریک علت را چنین بیان کرد :" این آلبوم همچون صاعقه ای که از چکش ثور بر زمین می خورد در دنیا

اثر خواهد کرد ... "

آهنگ " گایانا , این آیین لعنت شده Guyana Cult Of the Damned نیز از متنی بسیار قوی برخوردار است

و همانطور که مشخص است از مفهومی معنوی مانند خیلی از کارهای دیگر برخوردار است .

گایانا اسم کشور کوچکی در آمریکای جنوبی می باشد  .

مردم این کشور در سال ۱۹۷۸ به رهبری فردی به نام جیم جونز  Jim Jones علیه ظلم و ستم قیام

کردند و اکثر مردم  جانشان را در راه آزادی دادند ... مادران فرزندان را به جنگ فرستادند ...

این آهنگ منووار بیانگر ان حادثه ی تاریخی است ... و سخنان مادری که از فرزندش دل می کند ...

من نمی دونم آخه از منووار چی دیدن که سایت و وبلاگ و همه چیشو می بندن ؟

سایت و وبلاگ و همه رو فیلتر می کنند ...

آهنگ Call To Arms آهنگی بسیار زیبا از گروه منووار در آلبوم جنگاوران جهان

Warriors Of The World در سال 2002 است . آهنگی که در مورد جنگیدن تا آخربن

قطره ی خون برای حقیقت و درستی است ...

آهنگی در ستایش آزادگی ... آهنگ بسیار زیبا شروع می شود . به جرئت می توان گفت

که یکی از بهترین کارهای اسکات کلمبوس Scott Columbus درام زن گروه منووار همین

کار است ...  پس از درام اولیه شعر و ریتم اصلی با فریادی از اریک آدامز Eric Adams

آغاز شده و ریتم تا آخر کار حفظ می شود .

به گفته جویی دی مایو Joey DeMaio بیسیست گروه منووار این کار یکی از سخت ترین

کارهای او در زدن گیتار بیس در کل تاریخ گروه است و واقعا" هم می بینیم که از نقاط قوت

کار همین گیتار بیس عالی از جویی است .

در میانه های کار سولویی 40 ثانیه ای و مطابق با ریتم آهنگ به کار اضافه می شود و پس

از آن ریتم قطع شده و اریک شروع به خواندن پیام اصلی آهنگ می کند ... درام اسکات نیز

او را در این امر یاری می کند در این بین گاهی گیتار الکتریک نیز توسط کارل لوگان Karl Logan

طنینی خاص به آهنگ می دهد .

ابن آهنگ از نظر کار بسیاری قوی است و جزء قدرتمند ترین کارهای گروه محسوب می شود .

به طور قطع هرکس که به عمق کار پی ببرد منووار را به خاطر این کار ستایش می کند .

متن شعر نیز همچون خود آهنگ بسیار قوی است .

آهنگ جنگاوران جهان Warriors Of The World بی شک یکی از موفق ترین آهنگ های منووار

بوده است به طوریکه این آهنگ بیشترین اجرای زنده را در بین تمامی آهنگ های منووار داشته است .

آهنگی که به قول جویی دی مایو فقط به طرفداران منووار تعلق دارد . . .

این آهنگ به نام همان آلبوم موفق منووار در سال 2002 یعنی جنگاوران جهان نام گرفت .

و جزء محدود آهنگ های منووار است که برای آن کلیپ ساخته شده است زیرا گروه منووار Manowar

علاقه ی چندانی به ساختن کلیپ ندارد .

اریک آدامر Eric Adams  در این باره گفته است که اکثر آهنگ های ما جنبه ی حماسی دارند و هر

شنونده ای تصوری از آن را در ذهن خود پرورانده است و ما دوست نداریم این تصور را خراب کنیم

اما Warriors Of The World با بقیه فرق داشت . . . به طوریکه یک کلیپ عالی برای آن ساخته شد

به علاوه اینکه در اکثر کنسرت های زنده ی منووار نیز این آهنگ با شور خاصی اجرا می شد .

این آهنگ در شبکه های مختلف ماهواره ای بسیار بیشتر از سایر آهنگ های منووار پخش می شود .

این آهنگ در درام یک ریتم یکسان را تا آخر دنبال می کند .

همچنین از نقاط قوت آن  نوازندگی عالی گیتار بیس توسط جویی دی مایو است .

همکاری عالی او و اسکات کلمبوس در ابتدای کار نیز شایان توجه است .

برای اولین بار از منووار کاری این چنین دیده ایم  دو آهنگ با متن یکسان ولی به دو صورت اجرا می شوند

پارت اول و دوم فضای ارکسترال دارد و اریک آدامز به جرئت نخستین بار است که این گونه می خواند

از آهنگ های آرام بخش کلیسایی نیز استفاده شده تا آماده شدن برای کشته شدن در میدان نبرد در این آهنگ

به عینه حس شود .

هر دو آهنگ کاملا" حماسی هستند . . . اوج یک اپیک متال در هر دو پارت

برای درک این آهنگ و شعر حتما" باید افسانه های نوردیک و شمال اروپا را که مربوط به اودین و اساطیر است

قدرت خاصی به این آهنگ بخشیده

همچنین گیتار بیس عالی جویی دی مایو و درام زدن خاص اسکات کلمبوس و همچنین سولوی کوتاه و

 20 ثانیه ای کارل لوگان این آهنگ را به آهنگی سراسر شور و احساس تبدیل کرده است

Heart Of Steel ::: قلب پولادین

 

شعر   Heart Of Steel  یکی از زیبا ترین آهنگ های منووار است .همه کاره این آهنگ جویی دی مایو

است که بر خلاف نظر اریک آدامز این آهنگ را ساخت و 99% کار آهنگ سازی را جوی انجام داد .

 

بعدها که آلبوم فروش خوبی کرد همه فهمیدند چه آهنگ تکی است . ادبیات عالی این شعر یکی از تقاط قوت آن

 

 محسوب می شود ارزش این آهنگ همانند ارزش   Nothing Else Mattersاست با این حال  نمی توان این

 

 دو را با هم مقایسه کرد  اما با این تفاوت که مطابق ارزش های مبارزه طلبانه منووار است .

 این آهنگ را بسیاری شاهکار منووار می دانند ,  زیرا از سبک منووار کمی فاصله دارد ولی به خوبی

 در میانه های شعر با سبک اصلی تا حدودی یکسان می شود و همچنین متن شعر مطابق با اندبشه های آن

 

هاست .

متن زیبای این شعر که بسیار تاثیر گذار است بیشتر به مفهوم  مقاومت و نبرد  در برابر ظلم می پردازد .

و از عبارات و توصیفات زیبایی بهره جسته است  که از ابتدای شعر مشخص است ,  من خودم با

این شعر با منووار ( ManOwaR )  آشنا شدم و به همین جهت خیلی این شعر را دوست دارم .

از نکات قابل توجه این است که این آهنگ در آلبوم  پادشاهان متال (Kings Of Metal  ) قرار دارد

آلبومی که سراسر خشم است ولی  با وجود چیز های منحصر به فردی همچون The Warriors Prayer

و The Crown And The Ring  وجود این شعر بعید نیست . این شعر می گوید  " از ظلم می ترسی

و آن ها تو را مسخره می کنند ولی اگر تو در برابر ظلم بایستی بعد از مدتی آن ها را به زانو خواهی در آورد

و این بار  تو به آنان می خندی "

بی شک بعد از آلبوم های GODS OF WAR و WARRIORS OF THE WORLD

آلبوم KINGS OF METAL بهترین آلبوم منووار (MANOWAR) است.

تعجب بر انگیز این است که یک داستان در آن وجود دارد که عظمت آن را

چندبرابر کرده است داستان حکایت خاطره ای  از جوانی پیر مرد ی است که

برای نوه خود تعریف می کند :

a long way in time...

";It was my thirteenth year on a cold winter's

day, as I walked through the enchanted

forest, I heard the sound of horses, and men

at arms, I felt compelled to walk on and

find the place of these sounds, and when

the forest did clear I was standing on a

hill before me the armies of the worlds

standing, waiting. I thought to myself, for

whom or for what are they waiting?

Suddenly a gust of wind came up from the

North, there appeared a lone rider, holding

a sword of steel, then from the south came

another, bearing a battle ax, from the east

came a third holding a spiked club, and

finally from the west, a rider who weilded

a great hammer of war. With them came

their soldiers of death, followed by an

Army of Immortals. They were few in number

but the look in their eyes told all who

beheld them that they would leave this day

only in victory or death. And there was a

great silence...

My heart began to pound, storm clouds

filled the sky with darkness, rain came, and

the four winds blew with such anger that I

held fast to a tree. I watched the four

riders raise their weapons into the air.

Without warning, screaming their war cry

they led the attack, down to the battle they

rode, they met the armies of the world with

a mighty clash! I could feel the ground

shake, the earth drank much blood that

day. Each of the four, was unto himself,a

whirlwind of doom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When the smoke did clear, many thousands

were dead. There was much blood and gore.

Their bodies lay broken and scattered

across the battlefield like brown leaves

blown by the wind. And I saw the four ride

together to the top of the hill, while below

them the soldiers of death assembled, all

those who would now swear allegiance

to them.

And the four spoke the words of the

Warrior's Prayer.

    این یکی از زیبا ترین آهنگ های منوار است درباره برادر شرور ODIN است. 
که در سال ۲۰۰۷ با نام  GODS OF WAR وارد بازار شد.
ابن آهنگ در باره ی برادر اودین (خدای خدایان ) است که لاکی نام دارد و مظهر شرارت است
